Since we are all together as a family Carter's blog didn't seem appropriate, but it has been nice to keep everyone updated with how we are doing. So I will now be updating this blog instead of the adoption one. We are starting to be over the jet lag and are all sleeping through the night, though we have gotten up around 6a the past two mornings (which is better than 3 or 4a). Carter came home with a cold which was quickly shared with Daddy and Hunter. Carter is at the tale end of some pretty gross nose stuff so hopefully Daddy and Hunter aren't too far behind.
Carter is doing extremely well. He is starting to get over toy overload where he didn't know what to play with because he liked it all. He seems to be understanding us unbelievably well. Rex the dog has been trying really hard to make friends with Carter and seems to be more successful each day. Carter really seems to like Socks the cat and tries to pick him up.
Hunter is a very excited and proud big brother. He has had a few issues understanding why Carter gets carried more often and things like that, which of course are normal adjustment things. That being said he really likes his little brother and wants to do things with him.
We haven't made it in the pool yet, but plan on trying that out tomorrow.
