Happy Family Day Carter!

Celebrating one year as a forever family this week!

At the Lake

We spent the 4th of July weekend at Grandma and Pa-Pa's and the boys got to go tubing which they have been begging to do. Carter would squeal and giggle the whole time. Carter's repeated quote while going on the ride was "Ye-haw!", Hunter's was "Fire in the hole!". All in all everyone had a good time.

Grant's Farm

As if an afternoon at the Magic House wasn't enough we ventured to Grant's Farm the next morning before heading home. Feeding the goat's was probably all of our favorite thing.

I don't think this guy was too happy that tours started.

Magic House

The boys and I made a trip to St. Louis to take my grandma home after Carter's birthday party. While up there we ventured to the Magic House. I took more video than pictures there. The boys had a blast. They enjoyed the three story side, climbing up the beanstalk, and the bubbles.
At Grandma's house. I have pictures of me with this couch when I was the same age. Kind of neat.

Happy Birthday Carter!

About two weeks before Carter's birthday he became obsessed over Transformers. Sooo.... we had a Transformers birthday. He now has a Transformer t-shirt for every day of the week and that is what he wears every day of the week.

He would open a present then drop it behind him over his shoulder so he could rip into the next package. You would think this american birthday thing was old hat to him.

Catching Up

I have had good intentions of updating the blog and adding pictures of all the things we have been up to, but procrastination won out over those intentions. Spring soccer went well. Hunter is really starting to understand the game and get into it. He decided this spring that offense was more fun than defense.

Carter on the other hand was a whole other story. He would be so excited to put all his soccer gear on and head to the game. Every time as we would load up in the car he would say how he was going to kick the ball. Then we would get there and act like we were forcing him to play. He never made it out on the field without Todd or I, but he did make some effort in the last couple of games to kick the ball. That is until someone else started after it and then he would get mad and pout.
